1) The Hull House was a place that offered classes for cooking, hygiene, and rights/responsibilities of citizenship. They also provided childcare and kindergarten and built the first playground in Chicago.

2)Some reforms that Addams wanted were the end to sweat shops, end to child labor. She wanted professors to use social scientific data, eight hour work days and legal protection for immigrants, women's suffrage, and improvement in sanitation issues.

3)The people who opposed women's suffrage included liquor manufacturers, only because they felt women would try and ban alcohol. Also, people argued that the thought of women having a say in politics would demoralize the image of the "perfect" family. Another argument, backed up by Howard Taft, was that women were too emotional.

Some businesses opposed women suffrage because they were afraid that women would also vote for a ban on child labor. And most people opposed women suffrage because of gender bias.

The purpose for the Hull House was to provide child care and a kindergarten. The first playground was built in Chicago. It provided social services to the "city's poor". It held classes that taught cooking, hygiene, and the responsibility of citizenship. Some other reforms wanted by Jane Addams were: banned child labor, tenement housing, end to corrupt boss rule, established juvenile courts, and provide legal protections for immigrants. The reason people, mainly the men, were in opposition of women suffrage was because they feared that women would vote to ban alcohol sales, vote against child labor and limitations on work hours, and that women are to emotional.
