How did consumerism and advertising change in the 1920's?

Advertising took a big boom in the 1920's. More advertising was being used after the invention of the car. They were using advertising for everything in the 1920's such as soap, candy, and car products such as gas and tires. Coca Cola shows a great example of how product advertising has boomed over the years.
Consumerism became very big after the extrodinary economic boom in the 1920's. People started to receive higher wages and there was a sudden increase of spending on discretionary goods.

3. How were labor unions influential?

Labor Unions are influential because they created a 8 hour workday instead of a 12 hour workday
