Failure and End of Puritanism.

-The conflict between people who followed the episcopalian model of the church and government and those who followed he fundamental model have been at rife for decades.

-the fact that certain elements of religious control had vanished.

-they exiled there own members that had small theological differences

-banned many types of celebration

-they didn't like to moderate their drinking

-The social order was that husbands had control over their wives, parents over children, and masters over servants in the family.

-For full membership, the Puritan church insisted not only that its congregants lead godly lives but they also must demonstrate that they had done work of God’s grace in their souls.

-women were not allowed to permitted to talk during church but they were allowed to discuss it outside of church

-Some strong religious views common to Puritans had direct impacts on culture
